School Profile
Harriman Middle School is a sixth through eighth grade school servicing students in the town of Harriman, TN, and its surrounding area. HMS has an approximate yearly enrollment between 280 and 300 students.
The academic curriculum of HMS includes core classes at each grade level consisting of math, science, language arts, and history. In addition to these core classes, HMS also provides a variety of exploratory classes for its students, including STEM classes, band, music history, Tennessee history, art, and Spanish, among others.
Harriman Middle fields athletic teams for football, boys and girls basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, golf, and cheerleading.
Our clubs include the P-3 club (Positive Peer Pressure), Beta Club, Random Acts of Kindness Club, and a 7th grade service projects group.
We are a School-Wide Positive Behavior Support school, promoting good behavior among our students. In doing so, we offer quarterly celebrations to reinforce the initiative.
